In addition to my family, I am happiest when I am able to participate in those things that are important to me. Some of my many blessings afford me the opportunity to volunteer not only for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, but also for our local Children’s Hospital ~ where Allison is known to be a frequent visitor.

In addition to my roles as a team captain for Great Strides and co-chair for Wine and Roses for the CFF, I also currently sit on the NICU Family Advisory Board for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, am a NICU Visiting Parent/March of Dimes volunteer, as well as a Parent to Parent volunteer. I am the Vice Chair of the Family Centered Care Advisory Council and a Parent Coordinator for the ProjectDOCC initiative. I am working with the CF Care Center on their Learning and Leadership Collaborative as well as developing a Family Advisory Board to benefit our clinic families. I am passionate about each and every one of my endeavors and recieve a great deal of personal satisfaction from my involvement in such worthwhile causes.
